Visual Processing

Visual processing is the process of taking in visual information and processing it. It is not about quality of vision. It is about how the eyes interact with the brain to process the information. Some parts of this have to do with how the eyes function and other parts have to do with how the brain interprets.

The components of Visual processing are:

Visual Memory

Visual Tracking

Visual Closure

Visual Efficiency

Visual Form Constancy

Visual Discrimination

If any of these components are weak this may lead to Visual Dyslexia. Exercises such as Visual Kinesthetic Remediation and exercises to correct the individual weaknesses should be used to correct the problem. You can find them all in the Learning Success System.
