Dr. Kisha Walker is the academic coordinator for Walden University’s Master of Arts in Teaching program. Her passion for the field of education extends to her work as a trainer and lifelong learner. She holds a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification as an Exceptional Needs Teacher. Dr. Walker is also a former special education administrator and has provided training and support to special education teachers and paraprofessionals in implementing standards-based and adapted curriculum plans for students with exceptionalities.
